Recruiter-approved RESUMEs that get the job (done)
Things to include in a job-winning CV:
- The Essentials: Summary or Objective | Contact Information | Work Experience | Skills | Education
- Secondary Sections: Awards & Achievements | Projects Managed | Certifications | Extracurricular Activities
- Numbers & Metrics: Back up your experiences with data to stand out from the crowd
Tips to make Your Resume Stand Out
The ideal Resume Length
- 1 Page in most cases
- 2-3 Pages in special cases
Including second page to communicate your key experiences and achievements is absolutely acceptable to the employers as long as you have eliminated all the helping verbs and unnecessary articles. Alternatively, filling two pages with irrelevant information can be a big turn-off and might put your application at the risk of being passed over.
